It was a privilege to represent the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, at the Data Privacy Implementation Workshop for States, organised by the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) in partnership with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

The workshop provided an important opportunity to reflect on the growing responsibility of government in protecting citizens’ personal information, especially as we continue to expand digital systems and public services.

Data protection is not simply about compliance with the law; it is about trust, responsibility and protecting the rights of our citizens. From healthcare and education to taxation, social protection and digital government, the information entrusted to public institutions must be handled with the highest level of care and accountability.

I appreciate the NGF and NDPC for creating this platform for states to share experiences, strengthen capacity and develop practical approaches to implementing the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

As Kano State continues on its path towards more efficient and digital public service delivery, we remain committed to ensuring that innovation goes hand in hand with privacy, security and the protection of our citizens’ rights.

Kansiloli Masu Ci Na Jihar Kano sun kaddamar da sabuwar kungiyar Tinubu Abba Grassroots Movement Kano, a wani taro da aka gudanar a Ma’aikatar Yada Labarai da Harkokin Cikin Gida ta Jihar Kano, domin karfafa goyon baya da hada kan magoya baya wajen samun nasarar Gwamnan Jihar Kano, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, da Shugaban Kasa, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

An gudanar da taron ne karkashin jagorancin Kwamishinan Yada Labarai da Harkokin Cikin Gida na Jihar Kano, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, inda shugabannin kungiyar daga shiyyoyin Kano ta Arewa, Kano ta Tsakiya da Kano ta Kudu s**a halarta.

Da yake jawabi a wajen taron, Kwamishina Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya ya jaddada muhimmancin hada kai da kyakkyawan tsari daga matakin tushe, yana mai cewa rawar da kansiloli da sauran shugabannin al’umma ke takawa na da matukar muhimmanci wajen isar da sakon gwamnati da kuma wayar da kan jama’a kan harkokin siyasa.

Ya bayyana cewa kafa kungiyar zai kara samar da ingantaccen tsari na tuntuba da hada kan al’umma, tare da karfafa goyon baya ga Gwamna Abba Kabir Yusuf da Shugaba Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Sabuwar kungiyar ta bayyana aniyarta ta kafa ingantaccen tsari tun daga matakin kasa har zuwa matakin mazabu, tare da hada kan masu ruwa da tsaki domin karfafa goyon bayan siyasa ga Gwamna Abba Kabir Yusuf da Shugaba Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

A yayin taron, mahalarta sun jaddada muhimmancin rawar da shugabannin al’umma da kansiloli za su taka wajen wayar da kan jama’a, karfafa hadin kai da kuma tabbatar da nasarar tafiyar a zaben da ke tafe.

10,000 MEMBERS SOLIDARITY MEGA RALLY

IN SUPPORT OF HIS EXCELLENCY ENGR. ABBA KABIR YUSUF — SECOND TERM 2027

KANO — The Abba Ka Cika Gwarzo 4+4 In Shaa Allah Kano Political Support Group is mobilising its grassroots structure across Kano State toward an ambitious 10,000 Members Solidarity Mega Rally in support of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, and his second-term ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Mega Rally is designed to demonstrate the strength, unity and commitment of the group’s members and supporters across the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State.

The mobilisation will bring together youths, women, community leaders, volunteers and grassroots supporters, with a focus on strengthening unity, peaceful political participation and effective grassroots engagement.

Grassroots Mobilisation at the Centre

The group’s strategy is centred on building a strong grassroots network from the state level to senatorial districts, local governments, wards and polling units.

The 10,000-member target is not merely a numerical ambition; it represents a commitment to organised mobilisation, unity and sustained support for the continuation of the administration of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, beyond 2027.

A Stronger Political Network

Through the Mega Rally, Abba Ka Cika Gwarzo 4+4 In Shaa Allah seeks to further strengthen its structures across Kano State and demonstrate the readiness of its members to support the Governor’s second-term bid.

Sanusi Bature D/Tofa ya amince da kaddarar Allah, Inda ya tsaya wajen goyon bayan Jobe a zaɓen 2027 a Jam'iyyar APC.

Sanusi Bature D/Tofa ya bayyana cikakkiyar amincewarsa da ƙaddarar Allah, bayan abokin siyasarsa kuma ɗan uwansa, Hon. Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe, ya sake samun tikitin wakiltar Dawakin Tofa, Rimin Gado da Tofa a Majalisar Wakilai.

Sabature ya ce shi da Jobe sun fafata sau biyu wajen neman tikitin wannan mazaɓa, a ƙarƙashin NNPP a 2022 da APC a 2026.

Ya bayyana cewa Allah ne Ya san dalilin da ya sa Jobe ya samu nasara a dukkanin matakan sasanta rikicin neman tikitin jam’iyya, inda a NNPP Sanata Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso ya fifita Jobe, yayin da a APC kuma Gwamna Abba Kabir Yusuf ya fifita shi.

Sabature ya ce a matsayinsa na Musulmi, ba zai yi yaƙi da abin da Allah Ya ƙaddara ba.

Saboda haka, ya sanar da abokai, iyalai da magoya bayansa cewa a zaɓen 2027 zai yi aiki tukuru domin samun nasarar ’yan takarar APC a dukkan matakai.

Ya kuma yi kira ga masu tunanin yin adawa da jam’iyya a mazaɓar da su yi watsi da wannan tunani, yana mai cewa APC ta gabatar da ’yan takarar da s**a dace da jama’a.

Allah Ya shiryar da shugabanninmu, Ya ba su ikon sauke nauyin da ke kansu cikin adalci da abin da zai amfani al’umma. Amin.
