The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the official cutoff points for the 2024/2025 academic session as follows

▫️Universities: 140
▫️Polytechnics: 100
▫️Colleges of education: 80-100

Please be aware that each institution has its own specific cut-off mark.

The cut-off mark is the minimal score required to be eligible for post-UTME and admissions into tertiary institutions.

Now that you've checked your JAMB score, what's next?

Please note:

- The JAMB general cutoff points aren't out yet and will be announced during the JAMB policy meeting coming up next month.

- Institutions will release their cutoff points after the JAMB policy meeting based on JAMB benchmarks that will be decided during policy meeting.

- Look out for screening/post UTME forms from schools in the coming days; it's mandatory to apply and do your screening for your first choice of institution.

- JAMB data correction will commence soon, allowing changes to courses, institutions, and more. But remember, date of birth and state of origin cannot be changed after JAMB registration without altering your NIN first.

- Beware of JAMB score upgrading scams; they're fake.

- Join institution Aspirants WhatsApp groups for updates and be cautious when paying for services.

- Uploading of O-level and A-level results to the JAMB portal hasn't started yet, but it's crucial for admission. You'll be updated once it commerces.

- Remember, higher JAMB scores increase your admission chances.
