No plans for this afternoon? Step by at dtheAppel for the Go on Exchange fair. Continuously, between 15:00 and 18:00, there will be a an information market with delegates from Europass, the International Student Office and more. Also during 15:00 and 18:00, the Country Market in the Grote Appel will provide you with personal experiences from a semeste abroad. At 15:45 and 16:45, you can join our Language Speeddating Event in the Grote Appel and learn some basic vocabulary of, for example, Urdu, Arabic or Danish. Every half an hour, an inspirational lecture on culture shocks, international resumes and the practical side of an exchange program will be given in the Kleine Appel. We hope to see you then!

Interested in learning the basics of a couple other languages in just a few minutes? Join us tomorrow at the Language Speed Dating during the Go on Exchange Fair!

Native speaker of the following languages will teach you some phrases and sentences: Spanish, German, Urdu, Turkish, Czech,
Arabic (Egyptian), Danish and Korean!

Still making up your mind about going on exchange? Come to the Go on Exchange fair! There you can find all the information you need about the exchange programs and your semester abroad. You can step by any time you like between 15:00 and 18:00 hrs in the Hanze. Bring your friends, because no sign-up is needed!

A short introduction on our inspirational speakers. First, your very own professor Marcel van der Poel will give an interesting lecture on culture shocks that you might have to deal with during your semester abroad. Second, miss Leegte of Europass will talk about the importance of an international resume. And third, Caspar Kraaijpoel of the International Student Office will provide you with all the practical information you need for your exchange. The lectures take about 20 minutes and will be repeated once. The schedule can be found below. No need to sign up!

- “Landenmarkt” with worldwide representatives and their experiences from abroad. Make up your mind about possible destinations and learn from directly from students that have been on exchange.
- Several round of language speeddating. Learn basic words in foreign languages as Spanish or Hindi.

Foyer (continuous):
Information market with delegates from several organizations to provide you with all the information you need for going abroad.

The Go on Exchange Fair will provide you with all the information you need for a period of studying abroad. Besides worldwide representatives that will tell you about their personal experiences, there will be inspirational lectures on subjects such as the importance of résumé building. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to acquire the basics of different languages and to get familiar with possible destinations!
