TWIST Student Conference in Linguistics Join the 18th T.W.I.S.T. conference in linguistics on April 13-14!

The organizing committee is part of T.W.I.S.T., the study association for Linguistics students at Leiden University. Each year, the Conference provides a truly academic yet open and informal platform for undergraduate (BA), graduate (MA) and postgraduate (PhD) students to present their original research to fellow students and researchers from all over the Netherlands and abroad. Through many engag

ing student talks, keynote lectures, and an interactive quiz, we strive to bring together linguistics students and other language enthousiasts from the most diverse research fields and subdisciplines.

Come join us between 13-14 of April! Tickets can be purchased for one day or for the entire weekend. You could also choose to attend online. Beware that even if the workshop is free, places are limited, so come grab your tickets!

Hi everyone! Do you love language? Do you love being smart (or feeling like you are?) Then the Conference needs you!
This years theme is Branching Out. After all, interdisciplinarity is one of the things that keeps language sciences going. We are currently on the lookout for student speakers. The 14th T.W.I.S.T. Student Conference in Linguistics will take place on 17 and 18 April, 2020. The T.W.I.S.T. Conference is organised by T.W.I.S.T., the students' society for Linguistics students at Leiden University. Each year, it provides a truly academic yet open and informal platform for undergraduate (BA), graduate (MA) and postgraduate (PhD) students to present their original research to fellow students and researchers from all over The Netherlands (and abroad!). With 4 keynote lectures and many more student talks, we strive to bring together students interested in language from the most diverse research fields and subdisciplines.
