🇳🇱 Learning Dutch together as a family - Success story
One of our favourite success stories is about a mother and her daughter who both decided to learn Dutch.
They each had their own private lessons, tailored to their age, level and personal goals.
The daughter focused on school, making friends and feeling more confident in the classroom.
Her mother learned Dutch for everyday life, conversations with neighbours and teachers, and feeling more at home in the Netherlands.
Although their lessons were different, we regularly introduced similar themes and vocabulary.
At home, they started practising together.
They talked about their day in Dutch.
They helped each other remember new words.
They celebrated every small step together.
Learning Dutch became more than taking lessons.
It became something they shared as a family.
Language has a wonderful way of bringing people together—even within your own home.
