• Uformelle vaffellunsjer hver mandag, kl. 11.30.

Billions for wastewater – are there smarter sewage solutions for the Oslofjord?

How can we build new homes and businesses around the Oslofjord while also reducing pollution — without huge costs?

Join us for an open meeting and debate at Ås Kulturhus on **Tuesday 25th, 16:00–18:30**. We’ll hear from researchers, politicians and practitioners and discuss an alternative solution.

Everyone is welcome — and there will be some light snacks and food! 😊

The event is in Norwegian.

🎲 Want to try a “serious game”?
A serious game is an interactive game used to explore real-world challenges and spark reflection and discussion — not just entertainment.

In this workshop, you’ll take part in a serious game where we explore why it is so difficult for society to move away from unsustainable systems, and how new ways of thinking and telling stories about the future might help create change. No prior knowledge needed — just curiosity!

Can trans- and interdisciplinary truly thrive within traditionally siloed academic systems? And why are collaborative approaches essential for driving meaningful progress in sustainability? 🌍

Complex societal challenges don’t fit neatly into disciplinary boxes. Climate change, food systems, biodiversity, public health — they all demand collaboration across fields and beyond academia. Yet many institutions are still structured in ways that make this difficult.

In this upcoming webinar, we’ll explore:
🔹 What makes trans- and interdisciplinary initiatives succeed
🔹 The structural barriers that often stand in the way
🔹 How we can create stronger foundations for sustainability-driven collaboration

🗓 Date: March 24
⏰ Time: 14:00-16:00 (CET)
💻 Online and free to attend

Join the discussion and be part of rethinking how academia can better respond to today’s sustainability challenges. Register via the link in the comments 👇

Follow stream from the SDG Conference 2026: Education Unscripted – the Quest for Truth, Collaborative Transformation & Solidarity ⬇️

There have never been more educated people on this planet as there are today. Yet, if we cannot both learn and act with the knowledge that nature is being exploited beyond repair, what is quality education and lifelong learning worth?

Artificial intelligence technology, the rise of authoritarianism, war, conflict and forced migration are all factors challenging the “script” of education. We will explore and discuss our respective response-ability. As inspiration we will dive into the emerging positive trends of youth participation, global solidarity and activism, and alternative perspectives on regenerative education and transformative learning.

The conference is a meeting place for integral partners in a global community committed to upholding and strengthening quality education and lifelong learning and the scientific production of knowledge. We aim for frank, open and honest conversations about where we are now, where we want to go, what we will keep and what we need to let go of.
