नाग पञ्चमी केवल धार्मिक आस्थासँग सम्बन्धित पर्व मात्र होइन, जल, जंगल, जमिन र जैविक विविधतासँग मानव जीवनको सम्बन्ध बुझ्ने अवसर पनि हो। नाग तथा अन्य जीवजन्तु हाम्रो प्राकृतिक ecosystem का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा हुन्। त्यसैले प्रकृतिको संरक्षण गर्नु हाम्रो साझा जिम्मेवारी हो।
