📘 𝐃𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠
Introduction:
The Diploma in Civil Engineering is a 3-year program designed to produce competent civil engineering technicians who can contribute to national infrastructure development and economic growth. This program focuses on equipping students with practical and theoretical knowledge in various fields of civil engineering, such as road construction, irrigation, water supply, building construction, and urban development.
The curriculum includes six semesters over three years, integrating foundational subjects (Physics, chemistry, and Mathematics), language proficiency (Nepali and English), core civil engineering subjects, elective modules, and project work. Emphasis is placed on real-world applications and "must know and must do" principles.

Government infrastructure departments
Engineering consultancies
Construction companies
Water resource and irrigation projects
Hydro Projects/Road Construction Projects
Self-employment in civil works
Abroad jobs in construction companies

To produce skilled and ethically responsible middle-level technical professionals capable of addressing the practical needs of the civil engineering sector.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
The program is designed to:
Prepare graduates to work as civil engineering technicians in public and private infrastructure projects.
Develop a technically skilled workforce for supervisory and technical roles.
Foster professionalism, positive work attitudes, and respect for social and cultural values.
Address the demand for qualified civil technicians in national development.
Encourage self-employment through skill-based training.
𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐢𝐳𝐞: Maximum of 48 students per batch.
𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
SEE or equivalent with a minimum C grade in compulsory mathematics and science and a D+ in English.
Or a pre-diploma in civil engineering with at least 67.00%.
Must pass the CTEVT entrance examination.
𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
3 years (Semester system)
6 semesters total, with theoretical, practical, and project-based learning.
