Successful Completion of 3-Day Research Training Program

The Central Department of Management has successfully completed a three-day training program on Research and Data Analysis.

During this intensive program, participants gained practical knowledge on conducting quantitative analysis using different data types including panel data, pooled data, cross-sectional data, and time series data. The training also provided hands-on exposure to analytical software such as Stata, EViews, and Microfit, along with valuable insights into secondary data sources for research.

The program proved to be highly fruitful, enhancing knowledge, confidence, and research capability among faculty members. Such collaborative resource sharing among university faculties plays a vital role in strengthening academic excellence and advancing research culture.

Faculty Development Initiative | Research Training Program (Day 1)

The Central Department of Management has commenced a 3-day training program on Research Data Management and Analysis using STATA software, starting from today.

This important program is organized by the Research Management Cell of the department with the support of the University Grants Commission (UGC). It aims to strengthen the research capabilities of faculty members and staff by providing hands-on knowledge in data management, analysis, and interpretation.

We are honored to have distinguished resource persons:

Their expertise is guiding participants toward practical and impactful research skills.

We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that one of our distinguished alumni from the Central Department of Management (CDM), Far Western University, has reached a significant milestone in his professional career.

Having excelled as an MBA graduate at CDM, he has now been officially selected as a Teaching Assistant in Finance at Tikapur Multiple Campus (TMC)โ€”a proud constituent college of Far Western University (FWU).

MBA Industrial Visit & Learning Experience

Our MBA students had an insightful visit to the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Haryana, where they participated in an engaging training session focused on the scope, schemes, and role of institutions in promoting small industries.

The session provided practical exposure to how small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are supported through government initiatives, technical assistance, and capacity-building programs. Students gained a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship development, industrial growth opportunities, and the importance of institutional support in fostering sustainable businesses.

The visit also encouraged students to think innovatively, explore entrepreneurial pathways, and understand real-world challenges faced by small industries. Interactions with experts enriched their knowledge and boosted their confidence to apply theoretical concepts in practical settings.
