đ¨ ALERTS REGARDING COVID-19 đ¨
- UPDATE - 21 March 2020 -
An urgent message from the Vice-Chancellor of AUT:
The situation with COVID-19 has evolved so this is to inform you that:
⢠As of Sunday 22 March, all AUT teaching and assessments will be suspended for one week.
⢠AUT campuses will remain open and students are welcome to use our facilities including Tech Central, our Libraries, specialist labs, studios, research facilities, cafes, and other services.
⢠During this week the University will be completing preparations for alternatives to normal class teaching, including on-line and other approaches.
⢠This is part of our ongoing preparation to be ready should there be a requirement by government for universities to close. At present, this is not a requirement.
⢠AUT accommodation remains open
As always we encourage people to stay safe and follow all guidance of the government - https://covid19.govt.nz/
We will make regular announcements to update students via our website, and the AUT Student App.
Keep an eye on this page on our website which has been set up to provide information for anyone at the University with questions or concerns about COVID-19. It will be updated on a regular basis:
