Turns out Nature and Hayden Paddon have something in common… both build great rally cars!

The Hyundai Kona EV rally car back together and looking good with its new Harakeke fibre panels. You can check out the car this week on the Hyundai NZ stand at the Mystery Creek Fieldays.

Our key development target for the car this year has been weight reduction. Thanks to KiwiFibre Innovations, we have introduced Harakeke body panels which is a new composite material that is lighter, stronger and works with the land rather than against it. Together with some mechanical changes, we have targeted a 100kg weight reduction of the car.
