Follow-up from our previous trivia question.
Most of your answers were “No,” which aligns with what we believe in.
Regardless of whether someone is founder or organiser, we have proper processes, a quorum, a National Assembly, and a Constitution that must be followed before making any changes to our Fraternity
This is not about whether the proposed changes are right or wrong. It is about respecting our Tenets, Code of Conduct, Constitution, and the process that governs our fraternity.
History tells us that the National Executive Council (NEC) was formed through elected representatives from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Now, here is my follow-up question:
Was the Global Council established through the same election process, or was it formed through appointed members backed by the Founding Fathers?
If appointed, what constitutional provision gives it authority over the existing elected officers?
Being a founder deserves respect, but does that automatically give someone the authority to bypass the constitution, the body and the elected officers?
At the end of the day, this is not about personalities or positions. It is about the principles and processes we all agreed to uphold.
