📣 OSJP condemns Otago University's collaboration with US/Israeli cyber warfare firm, Palo Alto Networks.
We call on University administration to end any and all ties with the Zionist entity.

“In May 2025, Otago University announced it was partnering with Palo Alto Networks (PANW) to co-develop ‘cybersecurity programmes’ for the new Queenstown campus.
PANW was founded by a member of the Israeli intelligence division ‘Unit 8200’ — responsible for developing Israel’s ‘Where’s Daddy?’ AI targeting system, among others. PANW maintains direct ties with the IDF.
This year, PANW began listing on the Tel Aviv stock market after acquiring the Israeli firm CyberArk for $25 billion. It is now Israel’s largest public company.
In March, PANW secured a $250 million contract with the Israeli government.
Otago, by law, has an obligation to uphold the utmost ethical standards. By aligning itself with companies crucial to the genocidal and imperialist pursuits of the US/Israeli empire, Otago has violated its duty as critic and conscience of society.”
