Our best wishes and acknowledgements to our colleague Tama Kirikiri as he departs Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa today.

In his role as Kaihautū, Mātauranga Māori – Māori Education Leader at Tātai Angitu (Te Kura o Te Mātauranga), Tama has connected people, kaupapa, and opportunities in ways that have helped advance educational outcomes across schools throughout Aotearoa. As committed stalwart and proponent for Kaupapa, Tikanga and Te Reo Māori on Pukeahu Campus, he has also helped support many staff to grow their understanding and awareness of Te Ao Māori. Māori@Massey wish Tama all the very best as he now takes up his new role as Deputy Chief Executive of Toi Mai Workforce Development Council, Aotearoa.

E te uri o Te Whānau-ā-Apanui, Ngāti Konohi, Ngāti Rākaipaaka me Kāi Tahu, tēnei anō te mihi atu ki ā koe i roto i ngā taura here e herea mai nā koe ki Pukeahu, ki Tātai Angitū ki Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa. Whāia te tihi taumata hei oranga mō Te Iwi Māori.
