Today, we join the nation in commemorating Ninoy Aquino Day, honoring the life and legacy of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose assassination on August 21, 1983 became a defining moment in the country’s struggle for democracy.

This day serves as a reminder of the courage of Filipinos who stood for truth, justice, and freedom during difficult times in our history.

May the sacrifices of those who came before us continue to inspire every Filipino to value our freedoms, uphold democracy, and contribute to a more just and hopeful future for the nation.

Pursuant to Angeles City Information Office, classes at all levels are suspended on 10 August 2026 (Monday) due to the continued heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Storm Peilou and the Southwest Monsoon.
