"Building the ASC Smart Campus"

1st Floor, RDE Building, Conference Hall – Apayao State College, Luna Campus

The Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU), in collaboration with the Planning and Management Information System (MIS) Office, successfully led the “Stakeholders’ SWOT Analysis and Strategic Planning” with the theme “Building the ASC Smart Campus".

The activity was headed by Ms. Magilyn A. Racacho, ICTU Head and Chief Information Officer (CIO), and Dr. Hannie T. Martin, Director of Planning and MIS, with the help of the dedicated staff of both offices, Mark Valentine C. Vicerra (ICT Specialist / Network & Cybersecurity Administrator), Roderick O. Torrado (Information Systems Analyst II / Systems & Web Administrator), Aldrin N. Talay (Computer Programmer II), Albert Hope Guillermo (ICT Support Specialist / Multimedia Staff), Isagani Tabangay (Computer Programmer I), Darwin Raralio (Website Focal Person) , Shawn Raven Laud, and April Joy Agbucar from Planning & MIS.

The event was actively participated by both internal and external stakeholders. Internal participants included the Program Chairs, Student Leaders, and Heads of Offices and Units of Apayao State College Luna Campus, while external participants came from LGU Pudtol, LGU Santa Marcela, Brgy. Shalom, Brgy. Sta. Lina, and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) – Apayao. Their valuable insights and contributions played a significant role in identifying key areas for institutional improvement and strengthening partnerships for ASC’s Smart Campus initiatives.

The collaborative effort emphasized the shared commitment of ICTU and Planning & MIS to advance data-driven governance, ICT integration, and institutional digital transformation, ensuring that Apayao State College remains a Smart, Sustainable, and Digitally Empowered Institution.

Samahan kami sa isang makabuluhang webinar na magpapatibay ng kaalaman at kumpiyansa sa digital world. Dahil, tatalakayin ng DICT, sa pangunguna ng Regional Office 2, ang tamang paggamit ng internet at kung paano hinuhubog ng kilos online ang digital identity, kasabay ang pagpapaigting ng kaalaman sa data privacy, at cybersecurity.

Bilang pagtugon ito sa utos ng Pangulo na palawakin ang kaalaman at tiyaking ligtas at responsable ang bawat Pilipino sa digital space.

Bukas ito para sa mga estudyante, g**o, at lahat ng digital citizens na nagnanais maging mas matalino at ligtas online.

: The Medium-Term Information and Communications Technology Harmonization Initiative (MITHI) Steering Committee issued Resolution No. 2025-05 dated July 17, titled “Prescribing the Implementing Rules and Guidelines on the Adoption of Standards-based Approach to Information Systems Strategic Plan Compliance.”

The resolution prescribes the rules and guidelines for the adoption of a standards-based approach in the development, preparation, and ex*****on of all covered agencies’ Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP). These include the integration of frontline public services into the One-Stop-Shop E-Government Application, the adoption of the Standardized Government Data and Data Management System, and the adherence to the policy for the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) in government, among others.
