The Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU) of Apayao State College recently held a strategic meeting with the College President, Dr. Emmanuel James P. Pattaguan, to discuss the institution's continuing digital transformation initiatives and the strategic directions that will further strengthen technology-enabled governance, instruction, research, extension, and administrative services.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the College's ongoing ICT programs, recognize the progress already achieved through the institution's long-term digital transformation efforts, and identify priority initiatives that will guide the next phases of implementation. Discussions focused on the Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP), the Smart Campus Development Plan, the status of the College's in-house and outsourced information systems, cybersecurity initiatives, the current state of the institution's ICT infrastructure, and future innovations that will further enhance the delivery of services across the College.
The dialogue also underscored the importance of sustaining a secure, integrated, and resilient digital ecosystem that supports the evolving needs of students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders. Through strategic planning, infrastructure modernization, strengthened cybersecurity, and continuous innovation, Apayao State College remains committed to advancing its vision of becoming a future-ready institution.
