𝐂𝐀-𝐒𝐁𝐎 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭
𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 2025–2026

The College of Agriculture Student Body Organization (CA-SBO) 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝟵𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 for Academic Year 2025–2026. While this reflects a slight decrease compared to the previous year’s perfect 100% accomplishment rate, the organization still demonstrated remarkable performance and resilience. Out of the 11 planned activities, 𝟭𝟬 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱, alongside with 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 conducted in partnership with the Barangay Local Government Unit, further extending the organization’s impact beyond the campus.

Throughout the academic year, CA-SBO delivered a diverse range of programs that positively influenced students, faculty, the community, and the environment. These activities included:
1. 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣’𝙨 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣– promoting gender equality and empowerment.
2. 𝘾𝘼 𝘿𝙖𝙮 – fostering unity and pride within the College of Agriculture.
3. 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣– showcasing student talents and competencies.
4. 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙪𝙢 -encouraging dialogue and transparency between students and leadership.
5. 𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢– recognizing achievements of registered agriculturist and inspiring future professionals
6. 𝘼𝙘𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮 – strengthening camaraderie among students.
7. 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧’𝙨 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 – honoring faculty contributions and dedication.
8. 𝙊𝙆 𝙨𝙖 𝙊𝘼” 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙯 𝘽𝙚𝙚– enhancing knowledge and academic excellence.
9. 𝘼𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚– advancing agricultural education and sustainable practices.
10. “𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙙 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙖– promoting community involvement in waste management and environmental stewardship.

Beyond these accomplishments, CA-SBO earned prestigious recognition as “𝙎𝘽𝙊 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧” during the University Foundation celebration. Additionally, the organization achieved a significant milestone with the 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙤 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠, symbolizing its growing identity and institutional presence.

These successes were made possible through the dedication, hard work, and perseverance of CA-SBO officers, the guidance of its adviser, and the active participation of students. The unwavering support of faculty members and staff from the College of Agriculture further strengthened the organization’s capacity to fulfill its mission and uphold its commitment to service, leadership, and excellence.

𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗲 𝗠. 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲

The College of Agriculture proudly extends its warmest congratulations to 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗲 𝗠. 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮, who has been officially designated as the new Dean of the College. With her leadership, vision, and dedication, Dr. Garcia is set to guide the institution toward continued growth, innovation, and excellence in agricultural education and research.

As she assumes this important role, the College community looks forward to her stewardship in advancing academic program, strengthening partnerships, and fostering a culture of learning and service.

We celebrate this new chapter of Dr. Garcia with great enthusiasm as she takes her seat as the leader of the College of Agriculture.

𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 (𝘾𝘼) 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙟𝙤𝙧 𝙍𝙪𝙚𝙗𝙚𝙣 𝘼𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙞 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙙 1𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙪𝙢 2026.

During the selection of the best theses on April 14, 2026, at the Conference Room of the NLUC Administration Building, Mr. Minimirito clinched 1st place in the Health, Food, and Nutrition category. His paper, titled "𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘪𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘌𝘨𝘨𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘗𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 2𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘢 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯" impressed evaluators with its content. He further showcased his intelligence by confidently answering questions and delivering a poised presentation. The research was supervised by his adviser, Ms. Rosemarie O. Tattao, and committee members.

Mr. Minimirito is set to represent NLUC at the upcoming University Selection of Best Research, Thesis, and Dissertation on April 28-29, 2026, at DMMMSU-MLUC in San Fernando City.

The College of Agriculture through the Student Body Organization (SBO) came together to honor Women’s Month on March 18, 2026, a day filled with inspiration, empowerment, and meaningful conversations.

To make the celebrations more empowering and engaging, the SBO officers prepared a small token to all faculty and staff while chocolates were given to all Agri students. A sweet ice cream were perfect this summer seasons filled the cravings of students.

The CA-SBO always support every women in different color, sizes, age and background to have an inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered. Let’s continue to uplift, support, and stand with one another—not just this month, but every day.

𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐀 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨

In the Photo| The crowd was full of laughter and cheers when the Miss CA Bingo was surprisingly announced in the hall. Four BS Agriculture students participated in the Miss CA Bingo—a funny pageant which is to make the celebration more happier. The crowd had their own bets to win the title while candidates showcased their wit and confidence on the stage. At the end of the funny pageant, Mr. Cyrus Turalba was hailed as Miss CA Bingo and received a 1500 pesos cash prize, while Mr. Ferdinand Lacasandile was the first runner-up and received 1000 pesos cash. The third runner-up and fourth runner-up were Mr. Gilbern Villaruz and Mr. Elijah Soriano, who both received 800 and 500 pesos, respectively.

The event ended full of smiles on every face of the students and faculty.

𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗢: 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀

In the Photo| The celebration of CA-Day cannot be completed without fun yet charitable games for all students, faculty, and staff. The Bingo game is a charitable fund purposely for the students. The grand prize of the Bingo received a complete package of Acer laptop (Ryzen 5), while the 2nd and 1st prizes received 1000 and 2000 pesos, respectively. While the game was getting exciting and enjoyable, other students received gift packs as consolation prizes. These Bingo games served as a charitable fund organized by the CA-SBO and conducted with permission from the Mayor's Office to ensure it was legally held.
