As we officially end our journey as the CA SBO Officers for Academic Year 2025 to 2026, we do so with hearts filled with gratitude, pride, and countless memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.
For many of us, the College of Agriculture Student Body Organization became more than just an organization. It became our second home. Some of us served for one year, others for two, and some even dedicated three years of our lives to serving this college. Every year brought different challenges, lessons, and unforgettable experiences. We experienced the pressure of organizing successful activities, the exhaustion after countless meetings and preparations, and the sacrifices that came with balancing leadership, academics, and our personal lives. Yet despite every hardship, we were also blessed with moments that reminded us why we chose to serve. Receiving recognition four times was truly an honor, but more than the awards themselves, they represented the dedication, teamwork, and love we poured into every responsibility entrusted to us.
Leadership has humbled each one of us. It taught us that serving others requires commitment, patience, and sacrifice. There were days when we had to set aside our own needs to fulfill our responsibilities as student leaders. Some of us struggled academically, while others silently carried personal burdens and challenges outside the organization. There were moments when we felt exhausted, discouraged, and uncertain. Yet through it all, we remained united. We supported one another, understood each other's struggles, and reminded ourselves that even leaders have moments of weakness. Behind every smile, every event, and every accomplishment were individuals who were also fighting their own battles. Together, we learned that true leadership is not about appearing strong all the time, but about continuing to serve with courage despite our imperfections.
Among all the accomplishments we achieved, the greatest reward we received was never the certificates, plaques, or recognitions. It was seeing the genuine smiles, excitement, and participation of our fellow students and faculty members during every activity we organized. Witnessing our college community enjoy the programs we carefully planned made every sleepless night and every sacrifice worthwhile. Knowing that our efforts brought happiness and meaningful experiences to others gave us a sense of fulfillment that no award could ever replace.
We know that we were not perfect. There were times when things did not go according to plan, and there were moments when we made mistakes. But despite those shortcomings, you continued to support us, encourage us, and believe in us. For that, we will always be grateful. Thank you for allowing us to grow, to learn, and to serve the College of Agriculture with all that we had.
As much as we would love to continue serving this wonderful college, every journey eventually reaches its finish line. Today, we pass the responsibility to a new generation of student leaders who will continue the legacy of service and excellence.
The CA SBO Officers, together with our adviser, would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to everyone who became part of our journey.
To our supportive Deans, Dr. Analyn V. Sagun and Dr. Jimilee M. Garcia, thank you for believing in our capabilities, constantly motivating us, encouraging us to pursue meaningful programs, and giving us valuable advice that helped improve our service to the students.
To our Chairperson, Sir Julius Caesar Amoyen, thank you for your unwavering support and trust. Your willingness to assist us, especially in approving our requests without hesitation, allowed us to accomplish many of our plans for the college.
To our Vice President for RECI, Dr. Angelina T. Gonzales, thank you for providing us with the office supplies we needed and for always sharing words of encouragement that inspired us to continue serving with passion.
To our SAS Facilitator, Ms. Donna Cariaso, thank you for always standing beside us from the very beginning. Your constant guidance, patience, and wisdom helped shape the CA SBO into a stronger, more competitive, and more confident organization.
To all the faculty members of the College of Agriculture, thank you for your unwavering moral and financial support. You never failed to encourage us, guide us, and believe in our vision. Your trust gave us the confidence to accomplish more than we ever imagined.
To Ate Aivon Arellano, thank you for always being only one call away whenever we needed assistance, whether it was printing certificates or providing office supplies when we had already run out. Your kindness and willingness to help never went unnoticed.
To our beloved alumni, thank you for your generosity and continuous financial support. Your love and commitment to the College of Agriculture continue to inspire us. Your contributions became part of every successful activity we conducted.
To every Agriculture student, thank you for your cooperation, participation, support, constructive criticisms, and even the playful teasing that always made us smile. Above all, thank you for trusting us to become your student leaders. We sincerely hope that in our own little ways, we were able to serve you well and leave a positive impact on your college journey.
To the next generation of CA-SBO officers, we wish you nothing but success. Lead with integrity, humility, compassion, and courage. There will be challenges along the way, but always remember why you chose to serve. Let your decisions always reflect what is best for the students and for the College of Agriculture.
To our fellow students, we also ask for your continued support for the new set of officers. Let us continue working together because a stronger College of Agriculture is built not only by its leaders but by every member of its community.
As we leave this chapter behind, we carry with us not only memories of events and accomplishments but also friendships, lessons, and experiences that will remain in our hearts forever. Serving the College of Agriculture has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives, and for that, we will always be grateful.
Our message to the new officers is simple.
"Serve the community with both heart and mind. Let your leadership be measured not by the position you hold, but by the lives you touch and the difference you make."
Until we meet again.
