Community Christmas for Kids ✨🎉

With hearts filled with gratitude and renewed hope, we humbly extend our deepest THANK YOU on behalf of the Community Extension and Engagement Office for the successful 3-Day Community Christmas for Kids of STIWNU. This meaningful celebration was made possible through the collective effort and generosity of our seven sponsoring departments, despite the challenges brought by the recent Typhoon Tino.

In the midst of recovery and uncertainty, this initiative became a powerful reminder that kindness shines brightest after the storm. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Ryan Mark S. Molina, University President, whose leadership and compassion guided this meaningful endeavor. We are also deeply grateful to the Deans, Principal, MANCOM, and the Human Resource Department for their invaluable support, guidance, and commitment, which greatly contributed to the success of the event.

Our sincere thanks also go to the department coordinators, faculty members, staff, and volunteers who selflessly dedicated their time, effort, and hearts to bring joy and hope to the children when it was needed most.

For three heartfelt days, laughter replaced worry, smiles overcame fear, and hope was renewed as we celebrated with the children from:

📍 Manggapa Elementary School – Brgy. Masulog, Canlaon City
📍 Crossing Magallon Elementary School – Municipality of Moises Padilla
📍 Carmen Elementary School – Municipality of Pontevedra
📍 Canmoros Elementary School – Municipality of Binalbagan
📍La Granja Elementary School - La Carlota City

Each gift shared, every activity prepared, and all joyful moments reminded us that Christmas is about resilience, compassion, and unity. Through this initiative, we did not only celebrate the season—we uplifted spirits, strengthened community ties, and brought light and hope to young hearts recovering from adversity.

To everyone who chose to give and serve even in difficult times, your kindness made a lasting difference. May the joy we shared continue to inspire service, love, and solidarity within our communities.

Thank you for turning challenges into blessings and for making this Christmas truly meaningful.
Merry Christmas and God bless us all!

TOGETHER, WE LEARN. TOGETHER, WE SERVE. ✨

Last September 16 and 19, 2025, the RE-ECHO Seminar on Impact Assessment for Community Projects and Extension Program Planning actively participated by our Deans, College Community Extension Coordinators, Researchers, and passionate Student Volunteers for a meaningful two-day learning experience.

Organized by the Community Extension and Engagement Office (CEEO), led by Ms. Sharon P. Bermejo—who also served as Resource Speaker—alongside host Sir France Salaya and the 3TLs as facilitators, this seminar went beyond presentations. It fostered collaboration, reflection, and strategic planning for projects that truly impact lives. From readiness checklists to output vs. impact workshops, every session emphasized that working together amplifies our community impact.

We applaud the energy, commitment, and teamwork of all participants. Your efforts bring us closer to sustainable, inclusive, and impactful programs.

Here’s to more community-driven initiatives, stronger partnerships, and a future where our extension projects create lasting positive change. 🌱💙
