๐—œ๐—ก ๐—ฃ๐—›๐—ข๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฆ | BCU Student Leaders Attended WOMENtor Year 5 Seminar at University of Baguio

Student leaders from BCU participated in the WOMENtor Year 5 Seminar held on March 6, 2026, at the University of Baguio, with the theme โ€œLead like the Babaylans, Filipinas.โ€

The seminar gathered student and academic leaders to promote gender-responsive leadership and highlight the vital role of women in building inclusive and progressive communities. Participants were encouraged to embody the spirit of the Babaylansโ€”recognized in Philippine history as women leaders, healers, and community guidesโ€”by leading with wisdom, courage, and purpose.

One of the key takeaways from the keynote speakers was the โ€œ4 Gโ€™sโ€ of empowered leadership: God, Ganda, Galing, and Gigil. The talk emphasized keeping God at the center, embracing Ganda through character and values, and continuously developing oneโ€™s Galing to lead and make meaningful contributions, with Gigil serving as the passion to pursue goals and create positive change.
