Sa Araw ni Rizal, hindi lang natin ginugunita ang kanyang kamatayan kundi ang buhay na inialay niya para sa bayan. Si Jose Rizal ay nanindigan gamit ang talino, panulat, at tapang, piniling ipaglaban ang katotohanan kahit kapalit nito ang sariling buhay. Hanggang ngayon, ang kanyang mga aral ay paalala na ang tunay na pagmamahal sa bayan ay nasusukat sa pagiging mulat, makatao, at handang managot sa ating mga ginagawa.
