“Boo, It’s Me”
A short film project of BSIT 2-3 directed by Kim Ranjit Dionisio together with his group, presenting horror parody just in time for the day of dead!!! The film follows the story of an IT student whose ordinary daily routine turns into a mysterious and hilarious encounter.

This short and simple film full of twists and mystery filled with laughter and tension showcases the creativity, teamwork, and humor of BSIT 2-3. This film will play with your creative imagination thinking of what will happen next. Can you unravel the secret behind it?

HAPPENING NOW: BSIT academic honorees, faculty, and distinguished awardees are gathered for this year’s Honors Day celebration, entitled ILLUMINANCE: Shining a Light on IT Excellence.

The event highlights outstanding achievements in scholarship, leadership, and service, recognizing the dedication and impact of both students and faculty. With approximately 300 attendees filling the CLIRDeC Student Lounge, the atmosphere is one of pride and celebration as certificates are awarded, marking the culmination of hard work, perseverance, and excellence in the field of IT.

Dr. Roy Searca Jose Dela Cruz, Dean of the College of Engineering, also in attendance to share an inspiring message, “You have to finish strong,” emphasizing the importance of perseverance from start to finish throughout the semester.

Following that, Dr. Khavee Agustus Botangen, Head of the Department of Information Technology, also addressed the crowd, stating, “Whatever you are not good at, with the right amount of effort, you become good at it,” reinforcing the key to success through dedication and hard work.

The event also honors the top achievers for both the 2023-2024 2nd semester and the 2024-2025 1st semester, celebrating their outstanding contributions to the field of IT.
