The program aimed to recognize studentsโ€™ outstanding academic performance. In addition, this recognition acknowledged the leadership of campus and student organizations and stakeholders, especially the Parent-Teacher Council (PTC) and the Local Government Unit (LGU), for their continuous support, which greatly contributed to the achievements of the students and the campus.

โ€ŽThe recognition program was hosted by Mr. Mark James E. Dadaya, an Education faculty member. The program began with the welcome remarks of Campus Director Ms. Juwelyn P. Fabon, who shared the message: โ€œWith faith, determination, and courage, there is no limit to what we can achieve. Challenges may come, but they are not meant to stop us.โ€

โ€ŽMoreover, the guest speaker, Ens. Leo G. Bacuel, a former Criminology student of PalawanSU-Coron and now the Deputy Station Commander of the Coast Guard in Eastern Palawan, Cuyo, was introduced by Atty. Albert C. Garraez. In his captivating message, Ens. Bacuel reminisced about his years as a student and dreamer at PalawanSU-Coron. Additionally, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the faculty and staff for continuously building a strong foundation for students like him. Ens. Bacuel concluded with an inspiring message, saying: โ€œFirst, failure is not the end; it is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become better. Second, success is not defined by intelligence alone, but by discipline, perseverance, and the determination to keep going. Lastly, never forget the people who supported you.โ€

โ€ŽThis was followed by the awarding ceremony, which recognized students for their excellent performance. Students received the Academic Excellence Award, Academic Proficiency Award, and Certificates of Recognition for Leadership as members of student organizations. Certificates of Recognition were also given to the Parent-Teacher Council (PTC) for their leadership and unwavering support for the students.

A representative from the LGU-DICT conducted the seminar to raise awareness and enhance knowledge about technological security. It was presided over by Mr. Kieth Andrew A. Asuero, Project Development Officer I of DICT-Palawan.

โ€ŽThe seminar emphasized digital era, emergence of AI and other advancing technologies that transforming the society. It has also created a new landscape where digital consciousness has become a critical frontier. One significant issue discussed was the need to address concerns in government systems and explore solutions such as blockchain technology, which has the potential to promote transparency through the implementation of Senate Bill 1330 (Cadena Act).

โ€ŽThe seminar also underscored ethical considerations through the FEAT Principles (Fairness, Ethics, Accountability, and Transparency), serving as a guide for digital users in navigating the internet responsibly. A crucial reality was emphasized: โ€œZero risk does not exist,โ€ a truth that everyone should recognize. The discussion also highlighted major security threats such as data breaches (top cybercrime), hacking (intrusion), cyberbullying, catfishing, grooming, phishing, smishing, vishing, malware, and identity theft.

Dadaya, a faculty member of Palawan State University (PalawanSU), served as the official host, guiding the day's proceedings with excellence.
