The ACTION Center of Batangas State University – The National Engineering University, in collaboration with the Services for Students with Special Needs and Persons with Disabilities (SSSNPD) Office, invites you to participate in the Disability-Inclusive Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Response Webinar, to be held on 22 July 2026 (Wednesday), from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, via an online platform.

This webinar is conducted in observance of the National Disaster Resilience Month and National Disability Week Celebration. It aims to promote disability-inclusive disaster preparedness and emergency response by enhancing participants' understanding of disability-sensitive approaches to disaster risk reduction and integrating inclusive strategies into emergency preparedness and response.

In this regard, we are pleased to invite you to attend this webinar and contribute to strengthening a more resilient and inclusive University community.

Rainfall is generally expected to be light to moderate, although Alangilan, Malvar, and Nasugbu Campuses may experience heavy to intense rain in isolated areas.

Temperatures across the campuses will range from 23.5°C to 28.0°C, while the heat index will range from 23.5°C to 31.6°C, resulting in mild to warm weather conditions.

Advisory: Normal campus activities may proceed. However, students, faculty, staff, and visitors are advised to stay hydrated, bring umbrellas or rain gear, and remain alert for possible localized heavy rainfall, especially in Alangilan, Malvar, and Nasugbu Campuses.

Batangas State University campuses are expected to experience partly cloudy to overcast skies with low to moderate chances of rain (0–65%) throughout the week. Light to intense rainfall is possible, with the highest accumulated rainfall expected in Malvar Campus (up to 84.25 mm), followed by Main Campus (51.00 mm), Alangilan Campus (45.96 mm), and Lipa Campus (40.02 mm), while Nasugbu Campus is expected to receive only light to moderate rainfall (up to 3.24 mm).

Temperatures across the campuses will range from 23.5°C to 32.0°C, with heat indices reaching up to 37.1°C, indicating generally hot and humid conditions, except in Nasugbu where warm weather is expected.
