The College of Fisheries proudly opens the 62nd Fish Conservation Week, aligning with SDG 14 (Life Below Water), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production).

This year, we highlight the best practices of our OJTs at BFAR, DOBE International, BEMO, and the Province of Boholโ€”immersed in marine conservation, sustainable aquaculture, and community-based fisheries. ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŒฑ

BEAUTY, CONFIDENCE, INTELLIGENCE

Today, November 14, 2014, the MR. AND MS. FISHERIES pageant crowned its newly acclaimed victors. While carrying their sharp wits and enchanting charms, they represented their respective teams/block with pride and honor. They gracefully took the stage and amplified the magic to each and everyone present!

Among the candidates, MR. JOHANESS ADNRIE SAJETARIOS of the BLUE WHALE SHARK and MS. GLORIEL BULALA of the GREEN SEA TURTLE were hailed as the new victors of the Mr. and Ms. Fisheries title.
