𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐞: 𝐀 𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐓𝐂𝐓𝐎’𝐬 𝟓𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲

At 5:00 AM today, MSU-TCTO marked its 56th Charter day with the traditional Diana and Serenade, a heartfelt tribute that has become a cherished part of every celebration.

This year’s serenade was dedicated to Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, PhD, organized by the Office of Cultural Affairs and Development, with performances by the Tagulbanuwa University Marching Band, Gusi Lumba Music Guild, and Tambuli Cultural Dance Troupe.

Their music filled the morning air with joy and pride—welcoming another year of service, excellence, and community.

Earlier today, the Office of Cultural Affairs and Development (OCAD) of MSU-TCTO formally turned over its leadership, welcoming Mr. Alshadat A. Mohammad, a faculty member of the College of Arts and Sciences, as the newly designated Director.

The ceremonial turnover was facilitated by the Office of the Campus Secretary, Ms. Warda A. Hadjirul, together with Assoc. Prof. Alcyn R. Bakkang, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs; Mr. Freddy A. Julkanain, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development; and Prof. Richard N. Muallil, Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension, along with representatives from other university offices.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Asst. Prof. Nelson S. Dino, outgoing Director, for his invaluable service and leadership in advancing the university’s cultural and artistic initiatives. In his farewell message, he expressed his appreciation to the dedicated OCAD team who journeyed with him throughout his term.

He also extends his heartfelt gratitude to Chancellor Hja, Maryam Jameela Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, PhD, for believing in his leadership and for the unwavering support she has given to OCAD. He now embarks on a new chapter as Director of the Office of Creative Works (OCREWORKS).
