𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆

Students of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) took part in listening to meaningful discussions on the Public Safety Seminar: Tactical Operation in Counter Insurgency, today, October 24, 2025.

The activity gave a highlight on the discussion of PMaj Eumorpho C. Batlangao on the topic with learners from first to fourth year listening in and a recorded video message given by Gov. RV Evardone showcasing support towards the activity, which the college in turn, gave their high appreciation to.

The seminar was conducted online following the cancellation of face-to-face classes in the university due to building inspections after the series of earthquakes that occurred in the previous weeks.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Students of College of Criminal Justice Education from 1st year to 4th year attended the General Orientation on continuation of asynchronous classes on October 20, 2025 at CCJE department.

The meeting revolved around the discussion on the guidelines of the college for the conduct of the classes and giving of instructions by each faculty member to their classes.

The General Orientation was conducted at the ground floor of the building and it was ensured that there was a safe passage for the students.

To honor the teachers of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), teaching staff of the department were celebrated through a cheerful event, today, October 3, 2025.

Organized by the Federated Class Organization (FCO) of the department, the Criminal Justice Education Society (CJES), the event included a segment where students delivered messages of appreciation to their teachers, followed by a video tribute highlighting the faculty’s contributions.

The highlight of the celebration was a series of fun games where faculty members joined in, fostering a lively and engaging atmosphere.

The program wrapped up with a gifting segment, allowing students to present tokens of appreciation to their professors.

Our faculty at the College of Criminal Justice Education didn’t just teach today they slayed the games!

Faculty members joined the fun with energy, laughter, and a competitive spirit during the highlight activity of the program for teachers' day, proving that our teachers can inspire in class and still play to win.

It was Boys vs. Girls, and guess what? The Girl Power came out on top, showing everyone that they can rule both the classroom and the games. 💅🏻

𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍 | Kabilang ang ilang mga criminology students sa mga estudyante ng Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) na sumakay sa libreng probisyon ng sasakyan ng probinsya ng Eastern Samar para sa mga stranded na student boarders na nais makauwi sa kani-kanilang mga munisipalidad, nitong hapon, Setyembre 26, 2025.

Itinalagang pick-up location ang Teatro Ibabawnon ng unibersidad kung saan nag-antay ang mga mag-aaral na sasakay pauwi.

Ang libreng sakay ay naging paraan ng probinsya sa pakikipag-ugnayan nito sa unibersidad na panatilihin ang kaligtasan ng lahat, sa kasagsagan ng Severe Tropical Storm "Opong".

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝗖𝗖𝗝𝗘 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝘂𝗽 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲

Ensuring physical fitness and cooperation in keeping the college's cleanliness, the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) conducted their weekly workout and general clean-up drive, yesterday, September 12, 2025.

The activity was participated by the college's 1st year to 4th year criminology students with the department's deputy for operation, Philip Airon Pajanustan, leading the exercise.

After their morning perspire, students proceeded with their general clean-up drive, where each year were provided areas to clean.

In connection, third-year students were tasked to clean around the whole CCJE while the remaining years cleaned around the College of Medicine (CoM).

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Students of the Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) - Borongan College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) participated in Live Firearm Training at Eastern Samar Provincial Police Office (ESPPO) Firing Range on August 9, 2025.

The live firearm training was participated by the 3rd year students as part of their subject Fundamentals of Marksmanship.

Every student is provided with 20 rounds of ammunition with a distance of 5, and 10 meters to hit the target with different stances performed.

Students were also reminded to have precautionary measures to ensure the safety of everyone to have a successful live firearm training.

The said activity was supervised by Police Chief Master Sergeant Andrew M. Nicart, Range Safety Officer, Police Master Sergeant Ronnel B. Padrilan along with Police Corporal Rosseller C. Guial, Police Corporal Francis Anthony C. Tegio and Patrolman Moises T Nicart.

The students were also accompanied by the College Dean, Dr. Eleazar S. Balbada, and one of the CCJE faculty members, Ms. Chona Guimba.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Criminology students participate in their routine clean-up drive around the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) grounds and took part also in the university clean-up drive, on August 8 2025.

Despite the rainy weather, students cleared up garbage around the campus and made sure its cleanliness.
