[MEMORANDUM No. 08 - 360, s. 2026]

In compliance with the Memorandum from the Office of the Chairperson, Commission on Higher Education, dated 18 August 2026, Central Mindanao University hereby directs the implementation of heightened security and safety protocol throughout the University premises.
All concerned are directed to:
[1] Immediately report suspicious persons, activities, packages, threats, hazards, or emergencies to the University Security Office;
[2] Ensure that emergency exits, evacuation routes, assembly areas, and emergency equipment remain accessible and unobstructed;
[3] Strengthen access control and security monitoring of University facilities, particularly in critical and high-occupancy areas;
[4] Present bag/backpacks for security inspection;
[5] Observe strictly University curfew hours from 9:30 PM to 4:00 AM;
[6] Immediately coordinate with the ODRRM, Office of Security Services, Office of Hospital Services, and other concerned offices during emergencies or security-related incidents;
[7] Coordinate with the PNP, AFP, BFP, and other appropriate authorities if their assistance or intervention is deemed necessary; and
[8] Observe existing University security, safety, emergency, and crisis management procedures at all times.
The Office of Security Servies and the Office of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management shall monitor compliance with this Order and recommend appropriate additional measures as necessary.
All members of the University community are hereby enjoined to exercise due diligence, remain vigilant, and strictly comply with established security and safety protocols and lawful instructions from authorized University personnel.
