𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗡

𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨?

They may look like colorful plants growing beneath the waves, but corals are actually tiny animals living together in colonies. These small creatures, called 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙮𝙥𝙨, build the structures that eventually form coral reefs.

Corals also have a special relationship with microscopic algae that live inside their tissues. The algae provide energy through photosynthesis, helping corals grow and survive.

From tiny organisms to massive reefs, the ocean is full of life that may not always be what it seems.

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙬?

With rain falling into the sea and rivers constantly carrying water toward it, it may seem like the ocean should keep getting higher. But Earth's water is always on the move.

Through the water cycle, ocean water evaporates into the atmosphere, forms clouds, and returns to Earth as rain. Some of that water flows through rivers and eventually makes its way back to the ocean, continuing the cycle.

The ocean isn't simply collecting water. It is part of a continuous system that keeps water moving between the ocean, atmosphere, and land.

A TIMELESS FOUNDATION, A DECADES-OLD JOURNEY.

Since the clock first struck our founding moment in 1977, nearly five decades have passed. From humble beginnings at Central Mindanao University, where a shared vision first took root. Every tick has become a chapter written in brotherhood. Every tock an enduring milestone. Every full rotation a powerful testament to our core values: Service, Unity, and Leadership.

What started on the grounds of CMU as a modest gathering of driven individuals has grown into a legacy. While time moves forward, our roots keep Delta Pi Omega standing tall in the campus and beyond.

Since the early 90s, many have witnessed just how symbolic this banner is, serving as an enduring centerpiece of pride, brotherhood, and shared heritage. Passed down through generations of leadership, its stitched emblem—bearing the DOLPHIN, olive branches, and founding year of 1977—carries the weight of decades of institutional memory and unwavering commitment to Service, Unity, and Leadership. Whether displayed prominently at major organizational milestones or hanging honorably during ceremonial gatherings, the banner stands as a living testament to the values that unite members across the Philippines and beyond. Over the decades, the fabric may age, but the spirit, identity, and legacy it represents only grow stronger with time.

A new academic year, a new chapter for Delta Pi Omega.

On August 13, 2026, the Delta Pi Omega Fraternity and Sorority - CMU Chapter held its First General Assembly for Academic Year 2026–2027.

The gathering brought our members together to welcome the new academic year, strengthen our bond as Dolphins, and discuss the organization's plans, activities, and goals for the year ahead.

As we begin another year of Unity, Service, and Leadership, may this assembly serve as the starting point for meaningful activities, stronger fellowship, and greater commitment to our organization and the community we serve.

𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬

On July 30, 2026, our Dolphin members participated in the University-Wide Leadership Development Seminar held at the University Convention Center.

The seminar brought together student leaders to strengthen their knowledge and leadership skills through discussions on 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗛𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿.

The seminar provided an opportunity for our members to learn beyond the classroom, become more informed student leaders, and better understand the responsibilities that come with serving an organization and the university community.

May the knowledge and lessons gained from this seminar continue to guide our Dolphins as they grow as leaders and members of the community.
