Community Guiding Seminar
March 15-21, 2025

The VMSC College Department, a Tourism Education Institution, would like to thank its organization Guild of Responsive Education in Arya San Jose del Monte Tourism (G.R.E.A.T.) for giving the school the opportunity to have its own DOT-accredited community tour guide. This will also support the tour guiding curriculum of the B.S. Tourism Management program.

The 7-day training has been fruitful and productive from knowing the basic life support during emergency situations, in-depth study on the rich history and culture of CSJDM, to stuying the KSAs of a tour guide. Mock tours, on-board and on-foot tour guiding were all experienced during the entire course.

Congratulations, VMSC College Department for passing this accreditation initiated by the DOT-Regional Office!
