📣 ATTENTION, ADSSU CLASS CAPTAINS!

As Agusan del Sur State University continues its transition and institutional evolution from Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) to Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU), the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), in coordination with the University Student Government (USG), announces the adoption of the new nomenclature “CLASS CAPTAIN” in place of “Classroom Chairperson.”

This change reflects the evolving identity of the University and recognizes the important role of classroom leaders in promoting responsibility, communication, cooperation, and active student participation. More than a change in title, the designation Class Captain represents leadership, service, and shared responsibility in strengthening the ADSSU student community.

📌 TO ALL ELECTED CLASS CAPTAINS

All duly elected Class Captains for the current Academic Year are requested to:

1. Join the official ADSSU Class Captains Messenger Group Chat for announcements, coordination, and important updates from OSAS and the University Student Government.

The Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) invites interested ADSSU students to become members of ARTA X YOUTH, a youth initiative of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) that seeks to engage, empower, and mobilize young people as active partners in building better public service.

Through ARTA X YOUTH, members will have opportunities to educate, observe, engage, report, and advocate for transparency, accountability, efficiency, and responsive governance.

🎓 EMPOWERING FUTURE PROFESSIONALS THROUGH KNOWLEDGE AND OPPORTUNITY!

The Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU), through the Career & Job Placement Center under Student Affairs and Services, successfully conducted the BJMP Information Drive at the ADSSU Sports & Socio-Cultural Center, with the participation of all 4th Year Students.

The activity provided our graduating students with valuable insights into the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), including its organizational profile, duties and responsibilities, career opportunities, and significant role in public safety and community service.

The students also gained essential knowledge on drug awareness and prevention, emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making, personal responsibility, and active participation in building safer and healthier communities.

As our students prepare to transition from university life to the professional world, the activity served as an avenue to broaden their career awareness, strengthen their understanding of public service, and explore career opportunities within the BJMP. 💼✨

Through initiatives like this, the ADSSU Career & Job Placement Center under Student Affairs and Services continues to prepare, empower, and connect students with meaningful career opportunities while promoting responsible citizenship and community engagement.

✅Proper school uniform (white inner shirt or sando)
✅Front-facing, clear, and with the entire face visible

2. Signature
✅Black ink
✅Plain white background
✅JPEG format
✅Clear, complete, and legible
✅No blur, shadows, or unnecessary marks
