The College of Computing and Information Sciences Student Organization (CCISSO) is pleased to announce that it has officially received its Certificate of Compliance (Certification No. 001) from the Supreme Student Government Commission on Audit (SSG COA) of Agusan del Sur State University, for the 1st and 2nd Semesters of Academic Year 2025โ€“2026.

This certification affirms that the organization's financial reports, liquidation records, and fiscal processes have satisfactorily passed the full audit and evaluation conducted by the SSG Commission on Audit. It stands as a clear reflection that behind every program the organization implements and every activity it undertakes, there exists a firm foundation of honesty, order, and accountability.

Just as precision and accuracy are essential to sound systems, the organization upholds the same standard of discipline in managing the trust given to it by every CCIS student. This compliance is not merely a certification โ€” it is a testament that our processes are conducted with due diligence, our records are maintained without discrepancy, and our leadership operates with integrity.

Agusan del Sur State University โ€“ Bunawan Campus welcomed the first semester of A.Y. 2026โ€“2027 through SUBIDA: General Convocation and University Orientation, which was held on August 17, 2026, at the ADSSU Sports and Socio-Cultural Center.

Derived from the word โ€œsubida,โ€ meaning โ€œto climb,โ€ the event symbolized the university communityโ€™s collective journey toward growth, excellence, and greater heights.

SUBIDA 2026 marked the beginning of another academic chapter, bringing students, faculty, and the university community together as they embarked on a new semester filled with opportunities, challenges, and aspirations.

ADVISORY

In accordance with Executive Order No. 20, Series of 2026, issued by the Municipal Mayor of Bunawan, and the announcement of the Local Government Unit of Bunawan, face-to-face classes and other in-person academic activities at the ADSSU Main Campus are hereby suspended until further notice due to the prevailing high heat index and the health and safety risks it poses.

The Subida: General Convocation is also postponed and will be rescheduled to a later date, which will be announced accordingly. However, the Orientation will proceed online today, with further details to be announced separately.

Meanwhile, all classes shall shift to appropriate flexible teaching and learning modalities. Faculty members are directed to ensure the continuous delivery of instruction while taking into consideration the circumstances and well-being of students.

The University reminds everyone to take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses and to stay updated through ADSSUโ€™s official communication channels for further announcements and advisories.

The health, safety, and welfare of the entire ADSSU Community remain our highest priority.
