The schedule of available dates will be announced on August 9, 2024, at 3:00 PM. Again, please set an appointment first before visiting the MIS Office. Students with no appointment will not be accommodated.

𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛: Why do we celebrate this day today?

104 years ago, Governor General Harrison passed Proclamation No. 4, reserving the 232-hectare untouched woodland in Barrio Ampayon, Municipality of Butuan, Province of Agusan del Norte, as the grounds of a young school. Today, 104 years later, we proudly call it Caraga State University.

𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: Suspension of Classes and Implementation of Work Arrangements for Flood-Affected Students and Personnel at CSU-Main Campus


With heavy rainfall and increasing water levels affecting Butuan City and its neighboring barangays, your safety remains our top priority at Caraga State University. Considering our students, faculty, and staff, the university, through its executives, will SUSPEND all classes tomorrow, February 8, 2024. Additionally, work arrangements will be implemented for our flood-affected personnel.

JUST IN | IMPLEMENTATION OF TEMPORARY ONLINE LEARNING TO AFFECTED STUDENTS

Pursuant to the appeal of the CSU Main University Student Government to the University Administration, the Office of the President (OP) released Memorandum No. 36 s. 2024, implementing a temporary online learning starting February 5-9 for the affected students.

This is in response to the recent flood situation affecting certain areas of Butuan and Cabadbaran Cities and nearby provinces. This measure is rooted in the commitment of the University to prioritizing the safety and well-being of the students during these challenging times.

3. ID Validation duration is until February 15, 2024 only. Beyond this date is considered Late Validation and have corresponding Do-Day Hours. Late Validation will be entertained every Wednesday only.

Face-to-face (in-person) classes will resume on December 11, 2023, for both campuses, following the directives of the City Government of Butuan and Cabadbaran and the assessment of the Office of the Building Official. Moreover, final examinations shall still be on December 11-16, 2023, as scheduled in the University Academic Calendar.

The Caraga State University prioritizes the safety and security of its students and workforce, especially during the recent earthquake and subsequent aftershocks.

Today, the university released 𝗢𝗣 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗡𝗼. 𝟯𝟯𝟰, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯, announcing the 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗙𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 of face-to-face (in-person) classes to 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 for both campuses, starting 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯. This is to conduct a thorough assessment of all buildings and facilities. Along with this announcement, students are further prohibited from visiting the university to uphold utmost safety and security.
