๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฌ | In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Office of the President, government agencies and instrumentalities are directed to strictly adopt energy conservation protocols formalized by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.. The directive aims to reduce building energy consumption and transport fuel use through the adoption of a four-day onsite work arrangement.
The arrangement may be implemented through a compressed workweek or by designating a common day for work-from-home arrangements, in accordance with the rules of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and other existing guidelines on flexible work arrangements.
According to the memorandum, โThe adoption of the four (4)-day onsite work arrangement shall be implemented starting 09 March 2026 and shall remain in effect until lifted or sooner revoked by the President.โ
In line with this directive, the University Administration has released Administrative Memorandum No. 00-000 to ensure compliance with the said memorandum circular.
Under the arrangement, onsite operations will be conducted from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., while Friday and Saturday onsite transactions are suspended.
Classes scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays are likewise suspended. Faculty members handling subjects on these days are advised to coordinate with their respective department heads for the necessary internal arrangements.
The system will remain in effect until the Memorandum Circular is lifted.
