The main thrust of the College of Education was to provide access, progress, and quality in the teaching education itself. Along with the BSED Program Chairperson and Coordinators, they spearheaded a two-day online training for all BSED Pre-Service Teachers.
The first day of the webinar was held on April 20, 2022.
The event started with an invocation, singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and CBSUA hymn through an audiovisual presentation.
It was followed by a welcome remark and inspirational message from Dr. Grace L. Negrete, Dean, College of Education.
Afterward, selected students introduced the speakers who discussed "Detailed Lesson Planning" and "Assessment Methods & Techniques".
The guest speakers are Ms. Lailani S. Jimenez for English, Ms. Nathalie Mae E. Ubalde for Filipino, Mr. Arturo A. Mortel Jr. for Mathematics, and Mr. Dennis B. Dacunos for Science, all are faculty of Sipocot National High School, Junior, and Senior High School Department.
The discussion was held in the breakout room for each major. The discussion of the two topics was about four hours.
After the discussion, the students attended the closing program in the main room.
Selected students gave their impressions of the discussion of the selected resource speakers.
Then, Prof. Julie B. Llagas, BSEd Chairperson, gave her closing remarks.
The first day of the event was hosted by Jubelee Claire Merced and Dominic Lozano.
The second day of the two-day webinar training of the BSED Program about Teaching Internship for all Pre-Service Teachers took place on April 21, 2022.
The event began at 9:00 AM with the primary goal of guiding student teachers in preparation for their upcoming Final Demonstration.
The program kicked off with an invocation, singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and CBSUA Hymn.
It was then followed by a message from Dr. Grace L. Negrete, Dean, College of Education.
Ms. Marietta A. Lingao, Ms. Amelia N. Cabaltera, Ms. Dolores F. Bogas, and Ms. Erlinda Y. Malazarte, the honorable input partners, discussed โTeaching Strategies in the New Normal" and "Selecting Appropriate Instructional Material."
After the discussion in the breakout room. Students were gathered back in the main room.
Then selected students gave their reflections on the discussion made by the speakers.
Lastly, Prof. Julie B. Llagas, BSEd Coordinator gave her closing remarks.
The second day of the webinar workshop was hosted by Archie Perpetua and Mary France Malto.
The above-mentioned webinar workshop was an initiative made for Pre-Service teachers headed by Mrs. Maria Joycee C. San Agustin, Teaching Internship Instructor. Students were expected to gain knowledge that will undoubtedly maximize the potential of future educators.
