Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) commends Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo on his re-election as President of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) for the fifth consecutive term.

This outcome represents the collective judgment of 113 state universities and colleges (SUCs), reflecting their assessment of his administrative capability, strategic direction, and sustained contribution to the public higher education sector. Hence, TAU recognizes the weight of this mandate within the broader context of national academic governance.

Dr. Ronquillo's extended tenure provides institutional stability and policy continuity, both of which are essential for the effective implementation of sector-wide reforms. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗥 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗰𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲.

Through the Philippine Civil Service Modernization Project, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) is further elevating government human resource management (HRM) by reviewing, assessing, and enhancing existing systems and practices.

This initiative aims to strengthen meritocracy, implement competency-based and data-driven HRM, and accelerate digital transformation across the bureaucracy.

To facilitate these modernization efforts, all PRIME-HRM activities including accreditations, validations, assessments, reassessments, maturity determinations, and recognitions are temporarily deferred until further notice.
