𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮 43.48% 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 2026 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗟𝗘𝗧).

The campus achieved a 53.33% passing rate among first-time takers and 25.00% among repeaters.

Present during the activity were the VPAA, OIC-VPAF, VPRDE, University Planning Officer IV, QA Director, CAO Finance OIC, SAO Budget, and Procurement Officer as part of the University Budget Committee. Also, present during the activity were the regular and fiduciary fund owners of the campus and student leaders.

The conduct of the budget hearing serves as a vital step in ensuring that campus programs, projects, and financial priorities remain aligned with the strategic direction and development agenda of the university toward quality service and institutional growth.

𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒓𝒐, Satellite College Director of Capiz State University – Pilar Satellite College, for winning the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 at the International Interdisciplinary Research and Development Conference in Social Sciences (IIRDCSS) 2026, held on April 7–9 at Crown Legacy Hotel, Baguio City, Benguet, Philippines.

Her research, “Perspectives of RHU Implementers on Health Programs and Activities,” underscores the significance of giving voice to Rural Health Unit implementers. Their lived experiences provide essential insights in enhancing healthcare programs, strengthening local systems, and fostering more inclusive and responsive community health services.

On March 21, 2026, in celebration of the 22nd Founding Anniversary of Capiz State University, the CAPSU Pilar Faculty and Employees Association, Climate Change Management Office, Gender and Development Office, Extension Office, NSTP Office, and various student organizations came together in unity to successfully conduct Lakad Kalikasan 2026.

With the theme "One Movement, One Mission, One CAPSU,” the activity highlighted the power of collaboration in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. From the walkathon to the coastal clean-up and mangrove planting, every effort reflected our shared commitment to protecting and preserving our natural resources.

This meaningful initiative showcased the spirit of volunteerism, cooperation, and responsibility among the CAPSU community—proving that when we act as one, we create lasting impact.

Cong. Guintu Turns Over Drinking Water Facility to CAPSU Pilar

Congressman Howard Guintu led the turnover of a Drinking Water Facility to Capiz State University–Pilar Satellite College on January 16, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the CAPSU Pilar Gymnasium.

The turnover ceremony formally opened the use of the facility, which aims to provide students, faculty, and staff with access to clean and safe drinking water.

The program included opening remarks from Dr. Jennifer P. Benliro, a presentation of the project background by Engr. Sharon Baticados, and the turnover proper led by Cong. Guintu together with CAPSU officials.

The activity also featured the ribbon-cutting and blessing of the facility, marking its official operation.

The program ended with a message of gratitude from Ms. Jinky Mae Bargo, Supreme Student Council President.
