February 11, marks the death anniversary of 𝗚𝗼𝘃. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗕. 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿. In accordance with Republic Act No. 7601, February 11 is declared Governor Evelio B. Javier Day, a 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 in the provinces of Antique, Capiz, Aklan, and Iloilo.

In line with this, Capiz State University – Pontevedra Campus joins in honoring his life, courage, and sacrifice, and commemorates his enduring legacy in the fight for democracy.
