The devastating fire that swept through Barangay Sambag 2, Cebu City, has left numerous families in urgent need of immediate aid. Responding to this crisis, the Ad Hoc Committee on Calamities and Emergencies of the CIT University Supreme Student Government has initiated the "Tabang Ta, Teknoy!" donation campaign.

The "Tabang Ta, Teknoy!" donation campaign has seen an outpouring of generosity, gathering substantial contributions to support those affected by the recent fire incident. With a total of Php 1,000 collected through cash donations, this endeavor strives to provide much-needed assistance to the affected families as they navigate the hardships brought about by the tragedy.

Generous in-kind and monetary donations have already been received for the "Tabang Ta, Teknoy!" donation drive.

In light of the fire incident in Barangay Tisa, Cebu City last November 15, 2023, which damaged 7 houses and affected 14 families, the Ad Hoc Committee on Calamities and Emergencies launched the “Tabang Ta, Teknoy!” donation drive on November 24, 2023.

Through the generous support of student organizations in our university, the donation drive successfully raised a total of Php 1,300 in cash donations which will go directly to helping the affected families manage their day-to-day finances amidst the difficulties brought about by the fire.

A recent fire outbreak in Barangay Tisa, Cebu City has caused devastation to its residents. Seven (7) houses were damaged by the fire, affecting fourteen (14) families.

In response to the devastating fire incident that occurred in Back Blessed, Villagonzalo 2, Barangay Tejero, Cebu City, Cebu, the Ad Hoc Committee on Calamities and Emergencies launched the Tabang Ta, Teknoy! donation drive. This drive culminated last September 16, 2023, as relief goods were successfully handed over to their local barangay unit. In the spirit of transparency, this report has been crafted to provide an overview of the initiative's outcomes.

The Tabang Ta, Teknoy! donation drive managed to rally a sum of P4,922.37 in monetary donations. The donation drive also received generous in-kind donations, including 43 packs of instant noodles, 15 pieces of canned goods, and a plastic bag filled with used clothes. This heartwarming support was instrumental in facilitating the procurement and distribution of 49 relief goods packs to aid the fire victims in their time of need.

The success of this donation drive would not have been possible without the generous support of several partner organizations. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the following organizations for their contributions, both monetary and in-kind:
