A teacher's influence goes far beyond the walls of a classroom. Last 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟵, the University of Cebu came alive to 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀. It was a day filled with smiles, warm tributes, and well-deserved appreciation for our dedicated faculty members.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐀 𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆?

Maybe it’s the answer we finally understood. Maybe it’s the question that made us curious. Or maybe, it’s the teacher who made us believe that we could go beyond what we thought we were capable of.

As Lyca Gairanod sings in her music, “𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙧𝙤’𝙣 𝙙𝙞𝙣 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙮, 𝙥𝙬𝙚𝙙𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙥!”There is something beautiful about being given the chance to learn, because with every new thing we discover comes another reason to dream. A lesson can open our minds, but the people who teach those lessons can also open our eyes to possibilities we never thought were within reach.

This 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔’ 𝑫𝒂𝒚, we celebrate the teachers who make learning more than just memorizing lessons and passing exams. They encourage us to ask, to explore, to try again, and most importantly, to believe that there is always more to learn and more to become.

Seeing the dedication and quiet intensity in the room was nothing short of inspiring. Every question tackled was a step toward building our 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘇𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀. A huge salute to everyone who showed up, took on the challenge, and pushed their limits!
