After 20 years since its establishment in 2005, Cebu Normal University Balamban Campus has finally become a REGULAR CAMPUS upon receiving an approval on the third and final reading by the Senate this afternoon, June 3, 2025 during resumption of the 19th Congress plenary session.
Under the House Bill No. 10619, the Campus has made its remark and history and will continue to be making more as more opportunities will soon open for its beloved community. This will provide greater access to higher education while opening new and different programs that help address the needs of the society.
Dr. Daniel Ariaso, Sr., the University President has made this dream a reality. His political will and his determination made significant contribution to this outcome. Together with him is the outgoing Cebu 3rd District Representative Pablo John F. Garcia who has always been supportive to the endeavors of the Campus since the very beginning. This is surely a legacy for both outstanding leaders who walk their talk and realize their goals and aspirations.
The two decades of silent commitment, dedication and hardwork of the institution with its leaders who come and go finally paid off, thus allowing Cebu Normal University Balamban Campus to be forever etched and noticed on the map.
