On June 5, 2026, NSTP completers from Davao Oriental State University – Tarragona External Classes formally celebrated the successful completion of the National Service Training Program. This milestone reflects their hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout the course.
The ceremony underscored their strong commitment to service, discipline, and teamwork through meaningful activities that strengthened their sense of responsibility toward the community. It represents an important stage in their academic journey, preparing them to become more active, responsible, and service-oriented individuals ready to contribute positively to society.
Following the successful completion ceremony of the NSTP completers, a significant highlight of the program was the Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which marked the strengthening of partnership between Davao Oriental State University and BLGU–Central, Tarragona, Davao Oriental. This collaboration supports the implementation of the Barangay Kalinisan Day (BARKADA) and Barangay Road Clearing Operation (BARCO) programs, both aimed at promoting environmental cleanliness, safety, and community involvement.
The MOA was formally signed by Dr. Roy G. Ponce (SUC President III), Hon. Fiel Melan C. Bulaong (Punong Barangay), Ms. Christine Jade P. Comendador (Municipal Local Government Operations Officer, DILG Tarragona), Mr. Dennis D. Awing (NSTP Coordinator, DOrSU–TEC), and Mrs. Leopoldo A. Aquino (Campus Administrator, DOrSU-TEC).
