𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘, 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗦.

The OSAS–Student Welfare Services Office through Economic Enterprise Development Services, and Career, Job Placement and Alumni Services, and the CBAA–Human Resource Development Management Program officially marked the launching of 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗔.𝗥.𝗔.𝗠.𝗜.𝗗. — 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗔𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. A collaborative initiative Project A.R.A.M.I.D. opens a meaningful space for students to take what they learn beyond the classroom—into real communities, real needs, and real opportunities for impact.

The launch brought together voices that reminded us what it truly means to initiate, lead, and serve.

𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗙. 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼, 𝗖𝗣𝗔, drawing from his experience as UNP Student Council President in 2024, shared the realities and responsibilities of student leadership, emphasizing that: “𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.”

Through “𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁,” 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗹𝗹 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀, 𝗣𝗛𝗥𝗡, 𝗨𝗦𝗥𝗡, also a former and remarkable Student Council President challenged students to embrace the responsibility behind every opportunity. “𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝘀?” Because saying yes means giving your time and service, and while opportunities may come, luck is never enough without hard work. The discussion further emphasized that impactful initiatives begin by knowing their WHY—identifying real needs through data, understanding beneficiaries, setting SMART goals, and establishing a clear mission that gives direction to every action.

And so, Project A.R.A.M.I.D. begins. Not simply as a project, but as a collaborative journey of learning, service, innovation, and community engagement where students are given the opportunity to turn ideas into action and action into meaningful impact.

𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐒𝐂𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬

As led by the Economic Enterprise Development Services (𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗦), alongside Career and Job Placement Services (𝐂𝐉𝐏𝐒), Guidance Counseling Services, and Information and Orientation Services (𝐆𝐂𝐒&𝐈𝐎𝐒), in partnership with the Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives (𝐍𝐒𝐂𝐂), a one day seminar cm mental health consultation titled "𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲" was conducted for NSCC cooperative members. The event equipped the participants with entrepreneurial strategies while addressing the vital role of mental health in fostering business resilience.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐑. 𝐒𝐨𝐬𝐚, Head of EEDS, served as one of the key resource speakers, sharing insightful ideas to uplift and inspire the cooperative members. With his approach, Mr. Sosa encouraged participants to embrace innovative thinking and take proactive steps toward boosting their entrepreneurial ventures. Consequently, the mental health consultation concluded successfully.

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 has officially launched its 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴–𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, in front of the CHS/CN building. This year’s event featured captivating health booths that brought the nursing community together.

As part of the celebration, nursing students set up vibrant booths showcasing 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, making the event engaging to the nursing community. Beyond promoting wellness in their health-related field, nursing students demonstrated entrepreneurial ingenuity by designing creative booths and hosting lively entertainment, further honing their entrepreneurial skills.

The Economic Enterprise Development Services (EEDS) actively monitored the booths, highlighting the students’ creativity and innovation.

The 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impression to the nursing community, 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.

Integrating the theme of Philippine culture and history, the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 kicks off its annual momentous occasion, running from 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟵 – 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗢𝗘 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, showcasing the "𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻, 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁" (𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗣) of the different municipalities in Ilocos Sur.

Aside from delving into complex mathematical concepts, the engineering students also emphasizes it's appreciation and commitment to the cultural preservation through incorporating their entrepreneurial excellence by putting up vibrant and innovative booths that represents the OTOP of the different municipalities in the province.

Anent to this, the Economic Enterprise Development Services (EEDS) is actively monitoring the booths to capture and feature the creative and innovative capabilities of engineering students in preserving llocano culture.
