🕸️ One step closer into the Philoverse.

Every scholars of philosophy has an origin story, and for our newest Philosopeeps, this was the beginning of theirs.

Our Philosophy Department Orientation 2026 welcomed our first-year students into the department through an afternoon of learning, laughter, and meaningful conversations. From getting to know the ins and outs of the Philosophy Department, meeting our faculty members and the officers of the Young Philosophers' Society, to discovering the exciting opportunities and events that await them this academic year, our freshies took their first step into a community built on curiosity and camaraderie.

Of course, no orientation is complete without making new friends. Through interactive games, shared stories, and heartfelt messages from our upper-year students, we hope every freshie left not only feeling informed, but also knowing that they now have a home within the department.

Here's to new beginnings, lifelong friendships, and a journey filled with questions worth asking.
