Bicol College School of Law Celebrates Success at "Pagmawot" Testimonial Dinner.
The Bicol College School of Law (BCSL) community gathered at the Proxy Oriental Hotel for a sophisticated evening of tribute and celebration during its recently concluded Testimonial Dinner. The event served as a formal recognition of the institution's newest lawyers, honoring their dedication and successful admission to the Philippine Bar.
The evening was expertly organized by the BCSL Student Council. The council meticulously coordinated the event’s logistics and program, ensuring the "Pagmawot" celebration lived up to its name by honoring the aspirations and achievements of the legal community in Legazpi City.
The event opened with a warm welcome from BC's Executive Vice President, Dr. Pedro T. Marcellana III, followed by a powerful Inspirational Message from Atty. Armi Ballaran-Rabelas. Her words provided the new practitioners with valuable insights into the ethical demands and the noble calling of the legal profession.
The heart of the event was the Testimonials of the Bar Passers, where the honorees were recognized for their academic journey and ultimate triumph. The roster of honorees included:

Beyond celebrating the Bar passers, the evening underscored the continuity of leadership within the school. Judge Carlos Bona presided over the Induction of Officers, officially swearing in the student leaders who will guide the council in the coming year.
The atmosphere was further elevated by a Toast to the Bar Passers led by Atty. Armi Ballaran-Rabelas and musical performances by Ms. Kaye Villegas and Mr. Ernest James Blanza.
Special Awards were also given to Judge Carlos Bona, Labor Arbiter Jesus Orlando Quiñones and Ms Magella Mapa for their unwavering extended years of service in the School of Law of Bicol College.
Dean Atty. Ian Ll. Macasinag offered the final Words of Gratitude, thanking the families, faculty, and the Student Council for their roles in supporting the journey of these new lawyers, while Asst. Dean Atty. Noel Allen Bose closed the program with humble words of encouragement. With Dennise Jean S. Taperla serving as the Master of Ceremonies, the dinner concluded as a landmark success, reflecting the excellence and unity of Bicol College School of Law.
