ATTENTION ALL LAW STUDENTS OF BICOL COLLEGE SCHOOL OF LAW!📣

Please be informed that the 1st General Assembly for Academic Year 2026–2027 will take place on September 26, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the BC Gymnasium.

Your attendance is highly encouraged as we will cover key agenda items, including:

•Presentation of Accomplishment and Financial Reports
•Proposed plan of activities
•Committee reports
•Presentation and adoption of resolution/s
•Election of new officers

Note: Classes for all law students are officially excused for this event, as approved by the Dean, Atty. Ian Macasinag, and BC President, Dr. Pedro T. Marcellana III

25 YEARS OF DEDICATION, HEART, AND SERVICE

Some people become part of an institution’s history not because they seek recognition, but because, year after year, they choose to serve, to care, and to be there.

As Ms. Magella A. Mapa celebrates her 25th year with the Bicol College School of Law, the Law Student Council dedicates this project to her as a small but heartfelt expression of our deepest gratitude for the years she has devoted to our community.

For 25 years, you have witnessed countless students walk through the doors of the School of Law—with dreams, doubts, challenges, and hopes of becoming lawyers. Through all those years, you have remained a familiar and steadfast presence, offering your support, extending a helping hand, and contributing in countless ways to the continued journey of BC School of Law.

There are contributions that may never make it into a plaque or a certificate, but they become part of the memories and stories of the people who experienced them. Your 25 years of service are one of those contributions.

This project may be simple, but behind it is our sincere appreciation for 25 years of unwavering commitment, quiet sacrifices, and genuine care for the BC School of Law community.

On the final day of , heads of various law school student councils in Bicol convened to discuss potential partnerships and engagements for law students in the region.

Present at the meeting were:
1. ACI LSC President Maria Norgielen Dioneda
2. AdNU LSG President Juvin Durante
3. BC LSC President Jozar Verdeflor
4. BUCL CSC President Nenette Coralde
5. UNC LSB Governor Leonyl Ramos
6. UST-L LSC President Cameron Anne Ibo

They envision building a stronger and more united law student community across Bicol by providing engaging and meaningful opportunities that address the interests and concerns of Bicolano law students.

To our Dean, Atty. Ian Macasinag, thank you for your leadership, encouragement, and unwavering support for our barristers. Your guidance helped make this homecoming a meaningful one.

To our Dean’s Secretary, Ms. Magella Mapa, thank you for your dedication, coordination, and tireless assistance behind the scenes. Your work, often unseen, was essential in bringing everything together.

And to every BCean lawstudent, officer, volunteer, and member of the BC School of Law community who gave their time, effort, resources, and support—thank you.

Bar Salubong 2026 was more than simply welcoming our barristers after the examination. It was a celebration of community, solidarity, and the BCean spirit—a reminder that no one walks this journey alone.

Belgica, Atty. Pioquinto-Jasareno, Atty. Diaz, Atty. Basanta, Pros. Charo, Pros. Ferdinand Tena, and the rest of the BC Law Faculty Members—for their unwavering support; and to our beloved BC alumni who are now practicing lawyers—Atty. Arroco, Atty. Raquid, Atty. Basilan, Atty. Cesista, Atty. Abina, and Atty. Sheina Mae Onrubia—for making this year’s Bar Salubong 2026 a truly meaningful celebration for our BCean Barristers of . ⚖️

Your presence at the finish line meant more than words can express.

After months of relentless preparation, sleepless nights, countless cases and codal provisions, sacrifices, prayers, and moments of doubt, our barristers finally stepped out of the examination room—and there you were, ready to welcome them home.❤️🫂

To our professors, thank you for being not only teachers inside the classroom but also mentors beyond it. Your lessons, guidance, patience, and unwavering belief in our barristers became part of the foundation they carried with them into the Bar.

To our BC lawyer-alumni, thank you for coming home and showing our barristers what awaits them beyond this chapter. Your presence was a beautiful reminder that the journey does not end with the Bar—it continues with a lifetime of learning, service, integrity, and commitment to the legal profession.

And to everyone who helped make Bar Salubong 2026 possible, thank you for creating a moment our barristers will cherish long after the Bar results are announced.

Because sometimes, after giving everything they have, what a barrister needs is not another lecture or another case to read, but a warm welcome that simply says:

“You did well. We are proud of you. Welcome home.”

To our professors and lawyer-alumni, thank you for standing with our barristers until the very end.

Today, the Bicol College School of Law Community stands with immense pride and gratitude as we celebrate our BCean Barristers of who have successfully completed the Bar Examinations. 🤎

Behind every Bar subjects and questions were countless nights of studying, pages upon pages of cases and codal provisions, moments of doubt, whispered prayers, sacrifices, and days when giving up seemed easier than carrying on.

But you stayed. You fought. You believed.

The Bar was never merely an examination. It was a test of courage, discipline, faith, and perseverance. And today, you can finally say:

“I made it through.”

Whatever the results may be, never forget what you have already accomplished. You walked into that examination room carrying not only your dreams, but also the hopes and prayers of your families, professors, friends, and the entire Bicol College School of Law Community.

You have already made us proud—not because of a title you may soon carry, but because of the strength you showed in reaching this moment.

Now, let the books rest. Let the codals close. Let the sleepless nights become memories. Breathe. Rest. Celebrate.

For today, you are no longer preparing for the Bar.

You have finished it. ⚖️

Due to the recently concluded Bar Exams and in recognition of the involvement of BC Law Students and Professors in the Bar Operations, classes are suspended as per Dean of BC School of Law. 🎉⚖️

This serves as a simple reward and gesture of appreciation from the Dean for everyone who extended their time and effort in support of the event.
