Dear UIC/ICC Alumnae,
Praised be Jesus and Mary!
The University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) Scholarship Foundation, established by M. Ma. Assumpta David, RVM has the mission of reaching out to deserving but economically challenged students and providing them the means to have quality Christian education. It is supported by generous individuals (including UIC alumni) and business organizations.
In 2003, the RBN scholarship Program partnered with the University of the Immaculate Conception in a fund raising activity dubbed as “Seventeen Artworks to College: An Art Today, a Treasure Tomorrow” in support of the UIC Scholarship Foundation. A good number of aspiring college students benefitted from the proceeds of that fund raising activity as well as from the succeeding support and linkages provided by the Foundation. To date, the UIC Scholarship Foundation has already produced 136 college graduates.
Inspired by the positive difference that such fund raising activity made on the life of the beneficiaries and with the strong common desire to reach out to more deserving students, the RBN Scholarship Program and the UIC Scholarship Foundation are now partnering again. “Seventeen Artworks to UIC: An Art Today, a Treasure Tomorrow Part II,” which was launched last December 8, 2013 or a decade after the first partnership, aims to raise scholarship fund and expand the reach of its beneficiaries to include not only college students but also the deserving but economically challenged high school students.
Like in the past, this fund raising activity relies on the generous support of individuals who share the mission of education for those who have lesser economic means. It is for this reason that we are humbly seeking your participation and support to this noble endeavor. Attached, for your reference, is the brochure for this fund raising activity. Please refer to the back portion of the brochure for the raffle mechanics, in which we hope you can channel your support.
We thank you in advance and we fervently pray that God blesses you and rewards your generosity a hundredfold.
Sincerely in Jesus, Mary and Mother Ignacia,
Signed S. MA. MARISSA R. VIRI, RVM
UIC President
