[ICYMI] The University of Southeastern Philippines College of Education (USeP CEd) was hailed as the Overall Champion during the School of Education (SOE) Week 2026, held on April 6โ8 and organized by Ateneo de Davao University. This recognition reflected the exceptional performance of CEd students across academic, creative, and performance-based competitions, underscoring the collegeโs commitment to excellence in teacher education.
Leading the victory were students who excelled in various events. In Edukasyon Got Talent, BTVTED student Christan Ian Fundal emerged as champion. In Educ Portraits: Ripples of Impact, BSNED students Althea Kaye Cawayan, Ma. Nehlia Angela Navales, Ann Laurence Rana, Geila Anna Brienne Hinay, Samantha Opiasa, and John Vincent Acol, together with Kristine Jea L. Castillones, secured the championship title. In the EducUtakan competition, the 1st Runner-Up team was composed of Troy Andrei Cordova, Jarine Tanda, Jerrmons Rey Panaguinip, and Tom Lhoyd M. Salapuddin, while the 3rd Runner-Up team included BECEd students Aljhen Rose Aguro, Katrina Kylla A. Ramos, and Aiza Salvador. Meanwhile, in Teacher Explains!, Danica Rose M. Galinato emerged as champion, supported by Fe N. Dupla and Janen Siega.
The success of the delegation was further strengthened by the support of the CEd Local Council officers, namely Gregore Garcia, Christian Philippe Ballesteros, Jennah Lisette Baes, Dythmna Ardenia, Jannine Elesterio, Wilmarie Linao, and Christina Pajente. Guiding the students toward victory were faculty coaches: Assoc. Dean Abigail A. Navales, Dr. Maria Lila Y. Chaonui, Dr. Justine C. Mercado, Dr. Roar A. Callaman, Dr. Antonio L. Tolentino III, Dr. Annabellee Y. Dalman, Mr. Rodney James G. Del Castillo, Ms. Daisy M. Corpuz, and Mr. Amiel Isaac Del Rosario.
The overall championship highlighted the collective excellence of USeP College of Education students and faculty mentors, bringing pride and distinction to the University.
