πππππ ππππππππ | Effective immediately, pursuant to Memorandum No. 25, s. 2026 from the Office of the University President, Isabela State University (ISU) shall implement a Compressed Work Week (CWW) for Non-Teaching Personnel and a Work-From-Home (WFH) arrangement for Teaching Personnel across all campuses and operational units. This initiative aligns with national government directives on energy conservation and the efficient utilization of institutional resources, promoting flexibility and energy efficiency in the public sector.
Under this arrangement, non-teaching personnel shall observe a four-day onsite schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, while Fridays will generally be dedicated to limited operations and energy conservation, without compromising essential services. Offices delivering frontline services may adopt skeletal workforce or shift schedules to ensure that public service delivery remains seamless. Meanwhile, teaching personnel shall observe WFH every Friday, continuing official academic duties such as online classes, consultations, research, extension activities, curriculum development, and other scholarly responsibilities. Faculty members are expected to submit Monthly Accomplishment Reports (MAR) to document outputs and activities during the WFH period.
All campuses, colleges, and offices are reminded to observe the Enhanced Energy Conservation Protocols and ensure that the implementation of these arrangements does not disrupt the delivery of academic, administrative, and public services. Units performing essential and critical functions shall remain fully operational, with modified schedules as may be determined by their respective heads. All personnel are directed to exercise diligence and compliance in support of this initiative.
We would also like to inform the public that with this arrangement, office transactions shall be processed from Monday-Thursday.
