โCCE welcomed a special delegation from City College of Cagayan de Oro (CCCDO) today, August 18, 2026, for a Learning Exchange visit centered on financial governance, fee-setting processes, and locally funded higher education institution (LGU-HEI) practices.
โ
โThe visiting team was composed of CCCDO's financial team, Sir Jett Torres, Ma'am Titus Torres, Ma'am Amelia Milvar, Anjanette Vicky Mae Escalona, and Ma'am Darlene Palamine. They were welcomed by CCE's financial team, together with School President Lyllan Gay D. Magdale and Vice President for Finance Dr. Dranreb Oco.
โThe delegation clarified that the visit was not an audit, but a collaborative exchange with CCE's institutional leadership. Their focus centered on three areas: CCE's financial management system, the process behind securing an approved CHEDโUniFAST Schedule of Fees, and how the college navigates LGU budget processes as a locally funded institution.
โ
โThe visit reflects growing recognition of CCE as a reference institution in financial governance among LGU-funded colleges, a testament to its sound and transparent practices, and a step toward continued partnership between the two institutions.
