The ROTC officers from the City College of El Salvador took part with pride and success in the 2026 Annual Higalaay Civic Military Parade and Marching Band, which took place in Cagayan de Oro City. It was a significant chance for them to represent the college and to demonstrate their dedication, discipline, and teamwork.

At the event, the ROTC officers marched side by side with the other participants and displayed respect, confidence, and a sense of unity. The fact that they were there showed the values they are still developing through their time in the ROTC, namely responsibility, leadership, discipline, and service to the community.

The officers also had the opportunity to meet and work with other groups as they celebrated the rich culture and traditions of the Higalaay Festival. By taking an active part in the event, they contributed to promoting friendship, cooperation, and unity among the community's people.

The fact that they have taken part in this event shows that the ROTC Unit remains committed to fostering in young people a sense of responsibility and discipline. Even more significant is the way it demonstrates their patriotism, leadership, camaraderie, and desire to serve. The success of the officers in their participation brought them pride, but it also brought pride to the City College of El Salvador, since they proudly stood for their college at this major community celebration.
