Leepad 2 Second Generation Solar-Powered Electric Vehicle "LeePAD 2" Researchers:

ABREGOSO, JINELYN JEMINA
DE CASTRO, RYAN LESTER
DIMALANTA, KARL ALEXIS T. Francis P.

The LeePAD 2 is a four-wheeled, solar-powered electric vehicle which utilizes electric propulsion for transportation purposes. Unlike internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, it is powered by a 4HP DC motor supplied by a 48-volts battey pack. The solar panel coupled to the system assists in the charging of the battery while it is exposed to the sun, fully utilizing the abundance of solar energy.

Key Features:

> Produces zero emission during operation
> Generates little vibration and noise during operation
> About 500% more efficient than ICE vehicles
> Produces only 5% to 10% of the emissions of an ICE per mile traveled
> A battery charger is built into the vehicle, allowing the battery to be charged according to the battery consumption simply by plugging in the charge cable. MARIANO, MICHAEL VALER

If you have opted for a wireless keyboard you know the importance of rechargeable batteries and a wall charger. Although it is easier to charge the batteries after a while it becomes an annoyance to change them repeatedly. Now Logitech is coming out with a solar-powered keyboard that will be free of such hassles.
