TUP VISION
The Technological University of the Philippines shall be a premier state university with recognized excellence in engineering and technology education at par with leading universities in the ASEAN region. TUP MISSION
The University shall provide higher and advanced vocational, technical, industrial, technological and professional education and training in industries, technology, and in practical arts leading to certificates, diplomas and degrees. It shall provide progressive leadership in applied research, developmental studies in technical, industrial and technological fields and production using indigenous materials; effect technology transfer in the countryside; and assist in the development of small and medium scale industries in identified growth centers. COLLEGE GOALS
• To produce quality engineering graduates equipped with proper values, knowledge and skills relevant to the changing societal needs and conditions.
• To provide continuing graduate education to engineers who wish to pursue higher and advance learning in their field of specialization.
• To produce valuable research output and render quality extension services in various areas of engineering and engineering education. DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES
• To provide the students a solid foundation of science and mechanical engineering.
• To provide the students an-in-depth understanding of the mechanical engineering processes.
• To develop student’s ability to integrate new computing tools in mechanical engineering processes.
• To develop student’s concern for the environment.
• To create awareness among the faculty and students on ethical issues in mechanical engineering.
• To develop student’s ability to relate mechanical engineering to other discipline.
• To prepare mechanical engineering graduates in conducting scientific research.
